Best Friends Forever

Best Friends Forever
I felt it.
It was happening between us.
She was getting…
Out of control.
Still looked at her like she was the Best Friend,
I really know.
I had never had this happen before,
So I don’t know how this could go.
Should I stay?
Or should I go?
Going to the mall, watching movies, enjoying each other’s company
All took a hold of me.
I needed time to breathe.
We were as close as peanut butter and jelly.
Why is this happening to me?
I feel it again!
It’s getting stronger.
Oh my, I can’t take it any longer!
Split.
Gone like the wind.
We were supposed to be Best Friends Forever,
I don’t think I am going to like how this ends.
The clocks were ticking forward.
When they should have been going back in time.
And I don’t believe it was for the best.
We are two strong individuals,
We could have handled this tough,
Test.
