Why Do Teachers Force It?

Why do teachers force it so hard,
We have a weeklong discussion about a rock,
And how it metaphorically stands for the impact isolation has on society,
Or about a rubber duck,
And how it stands for innocence,
When in reality,
The author just likes rubber ducks,
To all you teachers (except Ms.Wiess),
Stop coming up with fake allegorical meanings,
And underlying themes that don't exist,
And to all you students,
If a teacher ever reads this to you,
There is no deeper,
Unseen meaning to this poem,
It's simply about how teachers force it.
