Laura Breitenfeld

Bad Day

She stepped onto the mossy earth floor
As the memories came back
She reminisced of the six year old boy who
Had been her brother’s best friend
And of her cousin whom she had briefly known
Recent events had brought her here again
This place she had once called
A stone garden
Would remain in her memory as only a
Cemetery
