The world is filled with so much evil
Hate, greed, selfishness
Who can we trust anymore?
Our friends betray us
Our heart breaks
We try to ignore the pain
Hoping it will go away
But we can’t escape

The future seems dim
There is no hope
Fear of failure never ending
Everything seems wrong and never right
The sun always sets
Darkness arises
Anxiety engulfs us
And we can’t escape
