A Moment Never Forgotten

Fingers woven through fingers,
Soft hands grasping each other,
He feels the grainy sand underneath his feet,
She looks at him, and smiles.

Her radiant face glows in the fading light.
They sit down and watch the setting sun,
A wide spectrum skips across their eyes,
Beat by beat, blue slowly changes to violet.

Evening melts to night,
The stars dance across the sky,
She leans in for a kiss,
He never wants to say goodbye.
