Nathaniel A.

Penguin

Perfection in the bitter cold
Enduring out here on the ice
Not to fly as other birds do.
Gathering fish from the ocean
Until our stomachs have been filled
Into my jaws, fish meet their end.
Neon orange contrasting my
Superb black and white feathered coat.

Ruling this rugged continent
Only one will wield this power.
Could anything else be so great?
King over all Antarctica!
