Fear

I tap your shoulder

Before you turn a corner

I creep to the darkest part of your conscience

Where I spread my weakening disease

I feed off of your racing heartbeat

I drink your nervous perspiration

You give me life

You make me stronger

With every tense moment you take part of

I become larger and larger

I tap into your nervous system

Dance on the triggers of your fear

BAM! You begin to look around in panic

Why so scared?

You can’t run from me I’m everywhere

You’re acting as if the end is near

If you haven’t guessed by now my dear

I am Fear.
