California

I stretch and pull down the covers with my feet.
The sun sneaks in through the curtains,
Blinding me with its bright rays.
I open my eyes but can’t see.

Deciding what to do,
With everything in the world,
But not enough time.
Another day for adventure.

Adrenaline rush!
Speeding down the Ghost Rider.
Catching the last fish
With my best friend.

Lost on a golf course.
Strummin’ my ukulele
To five year's time
Wishing to live this again.

The restless flight home,
Each minute passes like an hour.
I sink into my pillow
Dreaming California.
