Albino Squirrel

A streak of white catches my eye
As I inch closer I am awry
My hungry eyes flash,
My curiosities thrash,
My every action inspires dread
Ephemerally, among the yellow and red

Those crimson eyes and that snowy coat,
Commanding, so that even Mother Nature froze
Features which may trick your eye
But at second glance, a common squirrel if a little dyed.
