Becky Ngo Bagels and Cream CheeseYou are the bagel.
And I’m the cream cheese.
Together, we’re delicious.
You and I are perfect.
Balanced.
And we complement each other well.
You’re the crunchy bite,
And I’m the creamy filling.
One bite is like a ticket to heaven.
You’re the desired circle,
And I try to follow.
Before you know it, we’re the perfect match.
You’re warm to the touch,
That I could hold you all day.
But without me, you would be plain.
But I’m the flavor,
That you want.
The only one for you.
I was made for you.
And you were made for me.
Therefore, we were meant to be.
So now, every time I eat breakfast,
And I see a bagel in front of me,
I smile because I know that I will always be your filling.
