| Emily Karr Kaitin Unplug
Growing up my mind ran free
 From wondering about
 The endless universe
To wondering about always ending life
My eyes were bigger then, wider too
 Always questioning life, questioning myself

As time grew older and so did I
I began to find my answers
They were scary, cold, and raw
 I closed my mind
 I couldn’t think
My heart races through my chest

 I let go
 I plug in
 My mind is free
 I can breathe
