Why Do We Live?

Why do we live?

Like the life cycle of leaves,

Like the journey of geese,

Like the adventure of water particles,

Like getting out of bed every day,

Our lives drive around the oval track.

Once in a while, we encounter things

Making our lives better

Like sports, gifts, new school years, holidays

But face it

Life: go to school, get a job, get old, retire, and die

And we waste a third of our lives sleeping

So…… why do we live?

Then my friends smile brightly,

Then my family laughs heartily,

Then with acknowledgment, I grin confidently,

Then I realize

This is why I live: love.

Why do you live?
