Alicia Yeung

Two Stones

My Mother had two

Stones, One She polished brightly,

the other?

left

alone

The First set in Her sunlight

Basking in its warm caress

the other?

never

unmasked

Cold, Hard, Dull,

Where could it have come

From the Dirt?

Surely not

me.
