My Cat, Jack

There’s a creature on my bed.
He’s big, orange and plump.
He stares at me with big eyes,
He’s the biggest in size.
His ears perk up and his nose is wet,
And licks me with his long, pink, tongue.

I pick him up in my hands,
And he seems to like it.
He starts to squirm and I let him go.
I chase after him and say to him “No”
His large eyes gaze into the distance,
And then he rubs my leg and he’s happy.

He walks over on all four paws
And goes over to some food
Chomps and eats and devours is what he does
He got some food in his long hair.
He yawns big and then goes to the couch.
He stays there for the rest of his day.

His name is Jack and he is my cat,
And he loves affection from anyone.
It doesn’t matter who you are,
Just be sure not to go too far.

Jack is my friend and loves me a lot
He’s always behind me and in my heart
I hope I can goodbye with might
And wish he will have a good, long, life.
