A Clamor of Whispers

I have no dignity.
I have no fear
I am cunning and crafty,
More evil than I appear

I ruin marriages and friendships
I break hearts and destroy lives
I’ve caused thousands of millions
Of sleepless nights

I am the radio of the devil,
False news in a red dress
I prosper at every level
Every reputation, I tarnish.

I have no name, no face
Nothing but a sound
I travel fast from place to place
Only truth can track me down

I cause suspicion and depression
To those who are guiltless
But still I make headlines on television
With just a whisper, just a hiss.
