The Curtain Falls

Shimmering in the wind like a dainty dancer,
Twirling and whirling aimlessly
“How so elegant?". It does not answer,
But continues to pirouette gracefully.
Its untainted, pure structure,
Each and every one unique.
How can one dismiss their performance
As the ballerinas continue to flutter
With a strength inconceivable from their delicate,
Translucent crystals, their show ends on the frozen earth
As a bittersweet blanket covers the ground.
