Irina Kovari Dear GrandmaI've seen you in pictures, Sitting on the living room couch, With me in your arms. I can't even remember When it was taken. Do you know?
I wonder what you would say, If you saw me now. I wonder if you would seat me on your lap, And tell a story starting with "When I was young girl".
I don't remember much about you, but, I miss you more than I thought I would. Since when does a teenage girl need her grandma? Since she realizes her grandma's not around. She realizes she could use her voice, use her advice.
And while I probably wouldn't listen, I honestly mean this: Dear Grandma, I don't know if I ever said this, But I hope it's not too late, To tell you, I love you.
