Unconditional Love

I’m sorry that I don’t thank you enough,
When I can’t live without you.
I’m sorry that I take this for granted,
Knowing how much you grew.

I’m sorry for being so sensitive,
When you told me to be strong.
I’m sorry for breaking down,
Even when I knew it was wrong.

I’m sorry for hurting you,
And punishing you for all of those crimes.
I’m sorry for making us fight,
At the most inconvenient times.

I’m sorry for ignoring you,
Afraid of your reaction.
I’m sorry for running away,
Instead of taking action.

I’m sorry for pushing you away,
And then asking for you back.
I’m sorry for saying no,
When I didn’t know else how to act.

This is all that I can say to fix what happened in the past.
I’m sorry for making mistakes,
But life is flying by too fast.
The only thing I hear are the things you speak of,
And everything I do for you,
Is due, to my unconditional love.
